Catherine Delphi Wright became a Gold selling songwriter with her first release & co write for Sony Music | Jive . She has had recent co-writes on Epic Records | Sony Music , Perfecto Records (Paul Oakenfolds Label) & Black Hole Recordings.  

 

Cat has releases on 2 albums by X Factor (France) Judge ‘Christophe Willem’ ( Gold certified album Parait-il & Les Nuits) co-writing the lead single (L’ete en Hiver).

 

Music she has written has had over 2.5 MILLION streams & been synced on NBC (America) | Home and Away (Australia) | This Morning (London) | MTV (France) & Neighbours (Australia) .

 

Her Radio 2 Playlisted solo single (FIRE) was co written with Grammy nominated songwriter Dave Gibson (Bruno Mars / Faith Hill) & Fred Cox (Rag & Bone Man / Idris Elba).

Cat works closely with a handful of publishers on artist projects and 2021 saw 

 

Cat won the MOBO Help Musicians Fund and was nominated for Best Songwriter & Best Female at Sky 1’s Unsigned Music Awards (Presented by Laura Whitmore & Chris Stark). She performed on Jools Holland Presents, The Dermot O’Leary show (Radio 2), BBC Introducing, Top of The Pops & HBO drama ‘Succession’ - she has also been championed by Jo Whiley & Richard Madeley. Cat studied Classical Piano at the Royal College of Music with both a Bachelor (BMus Hons) and Masters (MA) Degree from the Royal Welsh College of Music ( receiving the prestigious ‘Leverhulme Scholarship’ awarded to one student per year).

 

Cat continues to write music with artists from Sony, Universal, Warner, as well as Grammy nominated Producers & Songwriters.
